Phase II of the Blog

Since I'm not pursuing Level 2 this year, I've been kicking around what to do with the blog in the coming months. I think I'm going to switch its focus to the job search I'm about to undertake and also continue to refine my L1 Success document. I'm planning on changing the layout to something a bit fancier and add some links to sites and resources I found helpful. Any suggestions?

Hi Jim,
This is from Minute-class.com. We wonder if you are interested in link exchange with us. We put the links on the left side bar under the title "Links" (our website is www.minute-class.com). If you are interested, please email us:

We think your contents are (will be) very useful to our members and we also hope putting link in your website will help to generate traffic.
Thanks!
good. will certainly help people like me. good luck with your search.
Love the new layout! All the best with the job search :)
(Thanks for posting your Secret Sauce as well, that is awesome of you.)
hi, i think the new layout color is nice but there are some text that cannot be read clearly due to the font color.. such as "Posted by Jim on Monday, February 2, 2009"
I can't seem to figure out that issue as it doesnt happen with every post. If it continues to occur I'll look into a new template. GLad people like it tho, I do too.
I like the new layout. I really do. However, it is now very difficult to navigate to your early posts. These posts from late July through November were good because they were both motivational and helped set standards for my own approach to study.
Please add a link at the bottom of the page saying "Previous Posts" or have a list of posts separated by month on the sidebar.
This blog has been a boon for many a CFA candidate. Thanks a million.
I added a blog archive widget which gives you the older material. Hope it helps.
